Recreational Fun
Teens and adults enjoy recreational fun time at Our Place facilities with others their age.
Life Skills
We provide instruction in life skills and offer opportunities to practice them.

Healthy, delicious food is served to your loved ones because we care about their health/

Innovative activities are planned by the facilitators and participants alike to enjoy time growing in knowledge of the world.
Our Journey

07/2017
Our Place idea was born in the basement of Faith Lutheran Church with a group of three families, a few volunteers, a couple of days a week, and a classroom.

08/2017
Our Place was incorporated into a business. The first version of the website is up.

05/2019
Our Place becomes a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

07/2020
Our Place hires its first two teachers!

06/2022
Our Place becomes a Recognized Service Organization of the LCMS.

11/2022
Our Place moves from Faith Lutheran Church to 1117 East South Street.

03/2023
Our Place Website Undergoes Revision.

05/2024
LWML Grant “Growing Our Place: Care for Special Needs Students – Our Place After School Care, Inc., Nebraska” $20,000

07/2025
LWML Grant “Mobilizing After School Care for Teens” $69,500
