They gain independence by learning vocational skills.
Our programs
After School
This program provides after school care for teens (ages 13-20) with disabilities. Teens are involved in making snacks and crafts, playing games and building friendships.
Summer
Teens receive full-day programming. We extend the activities from the after school program and include gardening, field trips and academic enrichment.
Freedom Factory
Our store provides a place to find unique gifts. We have a variety of local artists commission pieces and pieces made by teens from Our Place After School Care.
As a mother, I wanted my daughter to experience socializing with other teens, earning money and learning independent living skills.

This much-needed program is not found anywhere else outside of Lincoln & Omaha.
